A Word in Time follows the readings in the Methodist Prayer Handbook and offers commentary, explanations and questions to ponder on the selected passages. Writers from all around Methodism have written studies, providing the reader with a tool that allows them to make sense of the Bible and its relevance to 21st century life. This tool gives readers the chance to listen live to the Bible reading and study, or download the day's offering to a computer or mp3 player. The audio Bible studies are also ideal for sharing with those who otherwise might not have access to daily Bible notes, perhaps because of disability or simply not having access to the internet. |
