Holy Trinity, Bradley Stoke

Holy Trinity is a "Cell" church LEP (Anglican, Methodist, URC) and has been in existence since 1989. We have close contact with the Voluntary Aided School also on the site. The school has a distinct Christian ethos and all staff are committed Christians. The church has one paid full time youth worker who works in the church, the community and the local schools.

The Church is still in the transitional stage of cell development, moving away from the traditional style. All our thinking is based on cell, with Jesus at the centre, and a strong emphasis on bringing people to Christ through friendship in the cells. The cells include adult, about 80% of the fellowship are either cells or affiliated to one. The transitional period is expected to last from five to eight years.

The church consists mainly of families who live locally in a fairly new and developing community, with the fellowship valuing very much the older members. The Church has a charismatic / evangelical style of worship, with an average of 50 adults and 30 children attending each Sunday morning.

Our Mission giving is to Crisis Centre Ministries (Bristol), Retrak (Tigers - Uganda), Sarita Robbins Foundation, David Powe (Horfield Prison) Chris Hani School (South Africa).

The building is used throughout the week by the community for such groups as St. John's Ambulance, Brownies, Scouts, Bradley Stoke Toddlers, and various church groups such as Pre-School, Glory Gang (7 -11's) @one (11-14's) and Praise Raisers. (See link to website)
