Circuit Policy issues are dealt with through Leadership Team and Circuit meeting. Back to top
Current Circuit Policy
We seek to sustain the work of the 14 Churches of the Circuit by mutual co-operation and by encouraging the churches to keep before them the overall priorities of the Methodist Church, the proclamation of the gospel, meeting together for worship and the sacraments and encouraging work amongst all age groups. This work to be furthered through the Circuit meeting and its Committees. Recognising our place within the wider Church family, the Circuit encourages local churches to be involved with the other Christian Churches in their neighbourhood and where possible, become involved in Local Ecumenical Projects. Supporting the District Statement on Racial Justice; the Circuit encourages churches and their members to be in the forefront of endeavouring to work towards racial equality. Back to top

It is expected that in 2008 the five Bristol Circuits will unite to form the Bristol and South Gloucestershire Circuit. It is envisaged that this new Circuit will be fully operative by 2010. Currently all policies and practises, including staff responsibilities and sections are under review across the current Bristol Circuits. Back to top
